For the latest colorway, the Swoosh brand has offered a vibrant and shiny look to Kobe’s silhouette in the Nike Kobe 5 Protro “Eggplant” featuring the characteristic eggplant hues. This eye-catching tone is woven into the wrinkled leather added to the toe top, midfoot section, and tongue flap.

The shoe's design is elevated with golden details, which contrast with the black touches on the collar area, sock liner, Swoosh, heel section, and lace set.

The Swoosh, the Kobe emblem, and the snake pattern that wraps around the midfoot section are all lined with this golden tint. This set is clearly related to Nike's “Chinese New Year” festivities.
