The Nike Giannis Freak 6 continues its impressive design streak with the Candy Funhouse colorway. Giannis Antetokounmpo is collaborating with the Ontario-based Candy store Candy Funhouse to release a brightly colored silhouette that will launch just in time for the NBA ALL-stars.

Reminiscent of candy and sweet treats, the basketball shoes are dressed in a predominantly yellow scheme with accents of blue and pink. Although neither the Greek Freak nor Candy Funhouse has released official information on the sneakers, word on the streets is that the sneakers will launch in February 2025 on the Nike website and selected retailers.

Everything we know about the Nike Giannis Freak 6 "Candy Funhouse" colorway

This edition of the signature sneakers seamlessly blends fashion with function. The Freak 6 is bathed in candy hues of blue, yellow, and pink. Blue adorns the tongue and the heel tab and continues in a graceful arc towards the toe cap and sole.

The predominantly yellow body is accented by the giant pink swoosh and streaks of blue and pink. The candy-themed color scheme continues with pink detailing on the lace.

Giannis has always been vocal about his love for treats and candy and he took it a step further by acquiring major shares in the Candy Funhouse company in June 2023. In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, he described the acquisition as a move to spread joy through candy.

In a press release by Candy Funhouse, CEO Jamal Hejazi stated:

"We are extremely excited and honored to have Giannis and the Antetokounmpo family, owners of Ante Inc. join the Candy Funhouse team as owners and collaborators,"

He continued:

"Giannis embodies exactly what the Candy Funhouse brand stands for. Which is why we could not be more thrilled to have the Antetokounmpo's represent our brand."

The latest iteration of the Giannis Freak 6 marks the second collaboration between the candy retailer company and the All-Star player as they previously launched the Greek Treat, a collection of Giannis' favorite candies, in August 2023.

The Giannis Freak 6 is Giannis Antetokounmpo’s most recent signature silhouette with the shoe giant. Giannis first partnered with Nike in 2013 and has released interesting designs that have kept the sneaker community buzzing.
