The Nike Book 1 debuted last year when NBA superstar Devin Booker decided to hop on the Nike train. The silhouette has seen a few new releases, with its most recent iteration being the Nike Book 1 Oregon Ducks PE.

The sneakers are PE (Player Exclusives) for the University of Oregon men's basketball team. The Swoosh label presented them to the team to wear during the 2025 March Madness tournament. The shoes are dressed in the team's signature colors of green and yellow and were released in a "Home" and "Away" version.

Let's explore more details below.

More details on the Nike Book 1 Oregon Ducks PE Home and Away sneakers

The Nike Book 1 Oregon Ducks Home and Away sneakers maintain the signature design of the Books silhouette.

What Devin Booker has to say about his series with Nike:

"At the beginning of the design process, we landed on the idea of the shoe combining lifestyle and performance worlds. The goal was to create something that would be timeless."

The Book 1 Oregon PE shoes use Nike's signature top-loaded Air Zoom unit in the insole and a strong plastic plate in the midsole, which, according to Nike, provides support and cushioning.

The Swoosh label describes the Book 1 silhouette as follows:

"Devin Booker is a craftsman who can lose a defender with an ankle-snatching stutter-go, then come back with a series of spellbinding jabs into a splashed jumper. Book's signature shoe gives him the tools he needs to carve."

It continues:

"With leather accents highlighting a supersmooth upper and a speedy, yet cushioned ride, this design can help you explore the spaces created by your piercing footwork and hungry hooper soul."

The sneakers' Home rendition features uppers crafted from white mesh and leather, with a bold green Swoosh logo on its sides highlighted with yellow embroidered details. The Away version features green mesh and leather uppers with accents of yellow on the Swoosh logo.

Both versions come with two-toned green and yellow outsoles, which combine well with the white-colored midsoles.

Brand detailing includes a Bold Swoosh logo on the shoe sides, a small white or green Swoosh logo on the frontal sides, and the UO Oregon's retro branding on the heel tab.

More features include a pull tab, low-cut design, and lace-type closure.

Cons: The sneakers are only available for the players and will not be publicly released.

Interested individuals can shop the other Nike Book 1 models from Nike's SNKRS, which sell for $140 in adult sizes.
