Phoenix Suns’ Devin Booker and the Oregon-based sportswear label, Nike, are expanding the player’s signature shoe collection with another upcoming iteration of their Nike Book 1 sneaker model. The latest version is based on the popular Disney musical film The Nightmare Before Christmas, which was released in 1993.

The design of the shoe draws inspiration from the iconic characters and themes of the movie, incorporating unique details. Fans can expect a fresh take on the classic silhouette that pays homage to both Devin Booker's style and the beloved film.

The Nike Book 1 “Nightmare Before Christmas” sneaker will be decked in a White/Black-Clay Orange palette.

The Nike Book 1 “Nightmare Before Christmas” basketball shoes are scheduled for release just in time for the holiday season on December 19, 2024, at 10 AM EST. These Jack Skellington-inspired shoes will be offered via the sneaker retail shop Dick's Sporting Goods.

Besides, the pairs are also expected to be sold via Nike and other select retailers, both online and in-store. These Devin Booker pairs will be marked with a retail price tag of $140.

Nike Book 1 “Nightmare Before Christmas” is accented with Jack Skellington-inspired details

The Nike Book 1 “Nightmare Before Christmas” limited edition footwear, inspired by the classic movie, honors the haunting allure of Jack Skellington and the enchanting realm of Halloween Town.

This Book 1, themed on the Disney film, features a combination of white, black, and clay orange. The top layer is entirely wrapped up in white hues with a composition of plush suede. The Swoosh on the sides has been appliqued with distinctive stitching, reminiscent of that seen on Jack Skellington and other figures from the animated movie.

The embroidery is additionally apparent on the insoles as well as the tongue tag featuring the Swoosh design. Subtle accents of black and orange are noticeable on the tongues featuring Devin Booker’s Swoosh Book tag.

Additional orange detailings are added behind the tongues as well as on the inside of the sneaker. Rounding out these basketball sneakers is a robust glow-in-the-dark sole.

Interested readers are advised to stay in touch with the brand’s website for further details on the launch of these pairs.

Earlier in October 2024, the Swoosh label released a similar version of the Book 1 sneaker model in black. The previously released Book 1 “Halloween” variant was dressed in black makeup featuring comparable embroidery patterns on the sneaker. This pair is currently available for purchase on Nike’s website with a $140 price tag.
