The Air Max 90 sneakers’ bold design is further highlighted by chunky soles and the visible air unit. A peek inside the sneakers reveals a footbed designed to look like it’s constantly in flames. Interested sneakerheads can join the waitlist for the sneakers on the Nike website and get notified when they drop.
In other news, the Nike Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 2.0” will launch to commemorate the NBA All-Star weekend. According to Footwear News, the highly-anticipated sneakers will launch on February 13, 2025 for $190.
Sneak peek images of the sneakers reveal that their colorway combines sail, black, white, light bone, platinum violet, and white for an off-white aesthetic. The latest design abandons the popular snake scales on the lateral side and opts for a collection of stars in line with the All-Star theme.
The black swoosh logo accents the sneakers’ bright coloring. Underneath, the sneakers also feature different designs including the star motif on the tongue with a 3:D printing. The Kobe All-Star launched in February 2011 and was worn by Kobe Bryant for that year’s All-Star game.
The Protro version of the shoes was released in 2021 for the sneaker community. The Nike Kobe 6 also received an upgrade in 2020 with the Grinch colorway. The silhouette’s Zoom Air cushioning was replaced by the Zoom Turbo unit.
Stay tuned for more sneaker updates!
