Nike has officially announced the Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” sneakers. The brand-new shoes will be launched in the SNKRS app on February 6, 2025.
Starting March 6, 2025, the Air Max Dn8 lineup will be launched globally via the official Nike website and select retail locations. The lineup will feature multiple colorways and sizes, with the “Hyper Pink” iteration being priced at $190.
These sneakers come with full-length Dynamic Air technology. The Dn8 is expected to live up to the success of its predecessor, the Air Max Dn sneakers.
Nike introduced the silhouette in an official press release, stating,
"Nike is inviting athletes, sneaker fans and those who challenge culture to explore its latest Air Max experiment, the Air Max Dn8, marking the latest chapter in the footwear cushioning revolution Nike began more than three decades ago."
It also adds,
"By leveraging the same level of innovation that goes into elite performance silhouettes, Nike footwear designers built the Air Max Dn8 to provide all-day comfort and style inspired by fluidity and motion."
With Air Max Day 2025 just around the corner, sneaker fans can expect this launch to play a major role in determining Nike’s hold on performance-inspired lifestyle footwear.
Delving into the Nike Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” sneakers
The Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” is a low-profile sneaker with performance-based specs. In this model, Nike’s Dynamic Air system supports the entire foot. It also features two Air units and eight pressurized tubes. This setup allows continuous airflow from heel to toe.
Below is how Nike has described this feature:
"For the first time, the Air Max Dn8 extends Nike’s Dynamic Air technology to the full length of the foot, offering a new expression of how it feels to walk on Air."
The description further states:
"Akin to its predecessor, the Air Max Dn, the new silhouette leverages dual-pressured air units to respond to pressure with every step, delivering unreal cushioning, flow, sensation and motion."
Nike claims that it has fine-tuned the Air chambers of Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” for better compression. The rear Air unit has two pressurized chambers with higher pressure (15 psi) in the back tubes for impact absorption, and lower pressure (5 psi) in the front tubes. The forefoot Air unit mirrors this setup.
The upper is dressed in a gradient Hyper Pink. Black accents have been incorporated on the midsole and outsole to add contrast to the overall design of the shoes. Open mesh slashes on the sides and mini black swooshes are some of the pair's other specs. The midsole has a wave-like structure.
Considering the features on offer, the Nike Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” sneakers have a premium price tag of $190. Besides, the iteration has a relatively bold colorway, which may not appeal to those who prefer neutral tones. Fans can expect iterations with understated colorways of the silhouette in the future.
The official product description of the Air Max Dn8 “Hyper Pink” by Nike is as follows:
"More Air, less bulk. The Dn8 takes our Dynamic Air system and condenses it into a sleek, low-profile package. Powered by eight pressurized Air tubes, it gives you a responsive sensation with every step. Spanning from heel to toe, the Dynamic Air system sits directly on top of the rubber outsole to get you as close to the ground as possible for smoother transitions."
On release, these shoes will be made available to buy on the SNKRS official page.
