The Swoosh’s sublabel Jordan Brand is making preparations for the 35th anniversary of its Nike Air Jordan 5 sneaker model in 2025. The brand is expected to offer numerous colorways of the fifth Jordan model throughout the next year, including “Medium Soft Pink.”
The first look of a fresh colorway recently appeared online via the sneaker insider Zsneakerheadz’s social media page. Reportedly, the Air Jordan 5 iteration will be clad in a White-Medium Soft Pink-Black color palette.
The Nike Air Jordan 5 “Medium Soft Pink” shoes are projected to be released during the holiday season of 2025. These sneakers will be available for purchase through the online store, the Nike SNKRS app's physical locations, and certain linked Nike and Jordan Brand retailers.
Similar to other recent colorways of the Air Jordan 5 model, the Medium Soft Pink iteration is likely to be marked with a $200 price tag.

Nike Air Jordan 5 “Medium Soft Pink” colorway is accentuated with black details
The Nike Air Jordan 5 “Medium Soft Pink” variant showcases a pristine color combination of White, Medium Soft Pink, and Black. The shoe is likely to offer a predominantly white upper body. The eponymous accents of medium soft pink will appear on the midsole, outsole, and interior body.
Although certain design components are not revealed, the bold black accents will appear on the tongue flaps, outsole, and some parts of the midsole. A pair of white laces will be added to this basketball sneaker. The branding details will applied in pink on tongues and black on heel sections.
The distinguishing characteristics present in the Air Jordan 5, including the lace locks and shark-tooth midsole construction, are expected to appear with minor modifications.
The design inspiration for the Air Jordan 5 model as mentioned on Nike’s website reads:
“Nike designer Tinker Hatfield took inspiration from Jordan’s biting style, and likening it to an American WWll fighter plane, he designed the Air Jordan 5 with shark-tooth shapes on the midsole, paired with a clear outside. The shoe captured a ferocity truly reminiscent of its relentless muse who was fighting his way to the top of his game.”
