More details on the Nike Air 180 "University Blue/ Hyper Pink" sneakers
The American-based shoe brand describes the latest Air 180 iteration as follows:
"The Air Max 180 was the first shoe to feature 180 degrees of visible Air cushioning. We've seen several reissues since its introduction in 1991, but now the cult classic returns in a form closer to the original than we've seen before.
It continues:
"The redesigned upper and Air unit come together in various colourways, including this sleek University Blue and Hyper Pink edition."
The Air 180 University Blue/Hyper Pink iteration has a design closer to the original Air Max 180. It is dressed in two shades of blue and bright pink and features a dynamic blend of suede and mesh materials.
The shoe's paneled design and slightly elevated heels transform them into a blend of sports and street fashion. The brand's signature Air 180 unit and phylon midsole ensure adequate cushioning and comfort for all-day wear.
Brand detailing includes a Nike Air Swoosh print on the heel tab, a 180 logo embroidered on the tongue and embossed at the back midsole, and a bright and bold pink Swoosh logo on the sides.
The sneakers feature uppers crafted from deep blue neoprene mesh materials with light blue overlays made from suede. The accents of bright pink on the sides, tongue, and heels complete the look. A quick peek into the sneakers reveals a harmonious combination of pink and embossed blue branding in the insole.
Other Nike sneakers releasing in January include the Nike Air Pegasus Wave Black Flat Pewter, which will be released on January 23, the Nike Air Max Plus Gold Sunset, which will be released on January 23, and the Nike Book 1 Forest Gump, which will be released on January 24.
