Nike’s All Conditions Gear (ACG) lineup is reportedly expanding with the return of a beloved slip-on sneaker in a new colorway, the ACG Izy “Photon Dust” sneakers.

According to Sneaker Bar Detroit reports, the shoes are scheduled to be released in Spring 2025, with a retail price of around $130. On release, fans can expect the pair to be listed on the official Nike website, SNKRS app, and select retail locations.

Disclaimer: Details of the Nike ACG Izy “Photon Dust” sneakers are only speculated, and are not yet confirmed by the brand. They are subject to change.

Originally designed for light hiking and casual outdoor use, the ACG Izy features a moccasin-inspired silhouette with modern materials. Since its first release in 1999, the ACG Izy has held significant attention from sneaker fans and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.

After remaining dormant for some time, Nike revived the silhouette in 2024 with earthy brown colorways. Now, with the alleged Spring 2025 “Photon Dust” edition, Nike is moving beyond neutral tones to introduce a mix of light grey, Smoke Grey, and Anthracite. The zippered slip-on system, rugged outsole, and signature midsole are expected to make this release visually distinct.

The ACG Izy “Photon Dust” sneakers' colorway is labeled Photon Dust/ Anthracite -Smoke Grey - Black - Hot Curry, Kicks On Fire reports. Moreover, the latest edition reportedly sticks to the core elements of the line's original design while dressing in a lighter color palette. Some of its other key features include:

Midsole and outsole

  • Speckled midsole: The signature ACG speckled midsole in Smoke Grey and Anthracite ties back to the traditional ACG aesthetics.
  • Rubber outsole: The rugged outsole is expected to offer good grip.
  • Chunky heel design: This feature is expected to help with comfort and shock absorption, which might make the pair a good pick for outdoor movement.

Branding and additional details

  • Retro ACG logo: A Hot Curry-colored ACG logo is placed on the heel, reports claim.
  • “All Conditions Gear” insole branding: A subtle reference to Nike’s outdoor footwear lineup.
  • Neutral-toned lining and accents: The Smoke Grey and Anthracite details contrast the Photon Dust suede. This helps the upcoming shoes to have a balanced look.
