Jordan Brand’s partnership with BMX icon Nigel Sylvester is gearing up for an exciting release with the upcoming Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 ‘Bike Air.’ The market was buzzing with rumors about the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 "Bike Air," and now the first look has finally surfaced.
The initial mockups of the sneaker were shared by @zsneakerheadz, following which the first look at the shoe was shared by Elden monitors' social media handles.
Neither of the parties involved in this collaboration has released any official statements. However, Sylvester posted a photo of the "Bike Air" heel tab from his forthcoming Air Jordan 4 collaboration on Instagram, confirming the collaboration.
Rumor has it that the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 'Bike Air' is set to hit the market on March 23, 2025. The price and other details are still hazy, but once they come out, these sneakers are likely to pop up on Nike’s official website and a few select retailers. As of this writing, the rumored price for the shoe is $225.
Note: The information is subject to change based on the official announcement.
Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 'Bike Air' will come with a Bike Air logo replacing the traditional logo
Nigel Sylvester has infused the AJ 4 with his personal style and New York City roots. As shown in early images, the 'Bike Air' adaptation is decked in a Firewood Orange/Sail/Cinnabar hue scheme.
The AJ4 "Bike Air" silhouette exhibits a monochromatic theme and uses sail only for the midsole section. The construction employs high-quality leather and suede materials, complemented by signature mesh netting and TPU wings in matching hues.
Although the rear side of the sneaker is not visible at first look, the mockups and his Jordan 4 RM collaborations from earlier this Summer/Fall season suggest that it is fully expected to feature the BIKE AIR modified logo instead of the Nike Air emblem.
Just like in past releases, fans can expect unique packaging reflecting Sylvester's personal journey or his passion for biking. Previous collaborative drops have brought together themed boxes and additional lace sets for more personalization. A similar considerate approach is expected this time too.
Nigel Sylvester has been a known figure in BMX excellence and street culture. Sylvester kicked off his journey with the Jumpman family through his popular Air Jordan 1 collaboration in 2018. Since then, Sylvester has continued to cement his niche within the Jordan Brand with several launches, including the latest Jordan 4 RM.
The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 'Bike Air' is likely to be a popular choice among sneaker fans, like his previous releases.
In related news, Nigel Sylvester is also preparing for the launch of his joint Air Jordan 1 Low rendition in the coming year.
