The Swoosh’s Jumpman sublabel is planning to broaden its partnership with the American BMX athlete Nigel Sylvester with the launch of their new Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low "Nitro" shoe design.

The early look at the rumored collaborative sneaker was recently shared by a Jordan brand insider, @Zsneakerheadz. As shown in the image, the shoe will be supposedly decked in a Black/Muslin-Varsity Red color palette.

The Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low "Nitro" rendition is projected for release sometime during the fall season of 2025. These shoes will be sold via the physical and online sites of Nike, the SNKRS app, and their associated sellers. The price details of these sneakers aren’t available presently.

Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low "Nitro" shoes will feature a contrasting black and muslin makeup

Nigel Sylvester's collaboration with Jordan Brand progresses with the forthcoming launch of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Nitro." The new sneaker collab represents Sylvester's inaugural take on Nike's Air Jordan 1 Low silhouette. Sylvester, a BMX hero and cultural icon, is recognized for integrating street art with inventive fashion.

The AJ1 Low "Nitro" palette will probably exhibit a dramatic combination of Black, Muslin, and Varsity Red. As per the early look, the subtle muslin tones will appear on the toe boxes, side panels, and tongue flaps. The muslin foundation will be topped with bold black overlays. These contrasting black details are added on mudguards, eyelets, lateral Swoosh, and heel counters.

The details on the sneaker are accented in a varsity red hue. This vivid color will be utilized for the branding embellishments added on the heels and mudguards. To wrap up the shoe, the sole units feature muslin and black, with the former dominating the midsole and the latter sitting on the outsole.

Nigel Sylvester's previous sneaker collaborations frequently reflect his BMX heritage. They harmonize performance-oriented design with urban aesthetics, attracting both athletes and style-conscious consumers. A similar design is predicted to be used in the upcoming Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low "Nitro" shoes.

This isn’t the first collab between Jumpman Label and Nigel Sylvester. Earlier, in July 2024, the two entities presented their joint take on the brand’s Air Jordan 4 RM model. They decked the shoe in the “Pro-Green” suede ensemble, titled Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 RM 'Grandma's Driveway.’

Those interested in getting their hands on the new Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 1 Low “Nitro” rendition are advised to stay in touch with the Swoosh’s website for timely updates on release and price information.
