Rapper Ye, or Kanye West, has launched a new line of merchandise, BULLY, based on his upcoming album by the same name. On February 1, 2025, he shared a 30-second video on his X, giving a glimpse of the items available on yeezy.com.
In addition to the merch collection, what seems to have caught everyone’s attention is the website design, which can arguably be deemed one of a kind. As seen in Kanye West's X video, clicking a particular product enlarges the image with the garment appearing to have a moving effect, as if it has been hit by the wind.
Netizens complimented the website design saying it had a futuristic look. Many X users reshared the video with their thoughts and opinions. One X user wrote:
“Meanwhile Ye creates a website from the future that everyone will be copying in 3yrs.”
Social media users called Kanye West an artist while others complimented the web experience.
“Everything else aside, this man’s an artist like no other,” a social media user noted.
“We need more sound designs in websites. They complete/complement the web experience,” a netizen reacted.
“Such delightful design,” an internet user pointed out.
Netizens called Kanye West’s website the best e-commerce site for shopping but most users remained fixated on its features.
“Shout out to the website designer,” another platform user commented.
“A revolutionary user interface,” a person mentioned.
“YZY has the best website interface for purchasing clothing. Simple and convenient,” an online user posted.
“this is unironically the best clothing shop frontend i’ve ever used. yeezy should get into web design,” an online commentator opined.
More about Kanye West’s BULLY merch collection
The promotional video featured a collection of sweatshirts, T-shirts, and shoes in the brand’s signature neutral tones. It ended with an invitation for fans to visit yeezy.com, where each item is priced at $20. Kanye West also revealed BULLY’s cover art, created by Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama, recently.
Youtuber Miltnificient got one BULLY hoodie and shared a review on January 28, 2025. He complimented the stitching of the product, saying:
“This inner shell is actually fleece. When you look how it lines up and it traps everything, it’s good and why this is important is that we are or you are probably in the area where it’s probably cold and you are looking for warmth. This traps heat very well for $20.”
The YouTuber opined that Kanye West invested his time, money, and effort to ensure the customers got the best. Nevertheless, he complimented the craftsmanship of the garment. Similarly to his review, the YouTube channel ItsAD posted a review of the BULLY T-shirts he purchased. He noted that it was a simple and plain T-shirt with no size tags. He said:
“Personally, I am a big fan of this. Pretty straightforward, pretty simple. It does have a thick collar line. Now, to be completely honest with these slim-fit T’s, I am going to picture myself wearing them more through the summer just because it’s a breathable material. It’s not too thick.”
Part of the merchandise line was initially released in October 2024, alongside preorders for the digital album, vinyl, and CD. Back then, fans could purchase a black or white crewneck and T-shirt.
