The FDA has reported that JM Smucker Company LLC is currently recalling two Walmart bakery items that may contain potential contamination. The recall of these Walmart bakery items, specifically from "Good Value" started early on at the beginning of November. Later on, the official classification number of the recall was announced on 19 November 2024.
The two Walmart bakery items that were recalled included the Great Value Cinnamon Rolls and the Great Value Cheese Danishes. It was reported that these breakfast items were potentially contaminated by plastic.

After several pieces of plastic were found in the two Good Value products, a recall was initiated by the JM Smucker Company LLC on 1 November 2024. Great Value pastries are being exclusively sold at Walmart stores since Great Value is one of their in-house brands.
Almost 43,000 units of the two Good Value products have been distributed in stores all over the country. So far, 2,027 cases have been recalled for the Great Value Cheese Danishes and 1,602 cases were recalled for the Great Value Cinnamon Rolls. Each product comes in 12 units per case.
The FDA has categorized the recall on 19 November as a "Class II" contamination. This means that the distributed food items may cause temporary or reversible adverse health impacts or the probability of adverse health effects if consumed.
