Peter Jueptner, Group President of multinational cosmetics company Estee Lauder, will be exiting the company this year. Jueptner joined the company in 2009 as senior vice president of a few specific areas. Peter Jueptner is an alumnus of the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, from where he earned his Diploma in Industrial Engineering, followed by an MBA, which he completed in 1989. Before joining Estee Lauder, he worked as SVP of Strategy and M&A at Philip Morris for three years.
On January 24, 2025, a press release published by the company mentioned that on April 1, 2025, Peter Jueptner would step down from the position, following which he would exit on June 30, 2025. CEO Stephane de La Faverie said,
“Peter has made many essential contributions to shaping and growing our business worldwide during his sixteen years with The Estée Lauder Companies. I want to personally wish him the best on his next chapter.”
Faverie highlighted Peter Jueptner’s lasting impact through growth, innovation, and talent development, which he hoped would inspire the team. Similarly, William P. Lauder, Chair of the Board, praised Jueptner’s strategic vision and business skills, noting his contribution to the company's success. He said:
“Over the course of his impressive career with us, Peter has been one of the key architects of The Estée Lauder Companies, helping to expand our brand portfolio, grow our global footprint, and enhance the ways we work together across teams and geographies to serve our global consumers.”

He also served as the Executive Vice President of The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. for three years and GM Beverages and Latin America at Campbell Soup Company for three years. Before joining Campbell, he was the Principal of The Boston Consulting Group for eight years.
While working with Estee Lauder, Peter Jueptner focused on nurturing talent and promoting diversity, inclusivity, and equity. His leadership and collaboration with executives have been key to driving success.
In 2016, he became president of EMEA and moved to Paris. His leadership transformed the company, encouraging affiliates to utilize the complete brand portfolio to attract a diverse consumer base. By 2022, he was promoted to Group President. Despite obstacles, Jueptner initiated the transformation of the global commercial organization, aiming to create a more agile and focused structure that addresses consumer needs across regions and channels.
