Canadian coffeehouse and restaurant chain Tim Hortons has two exciting Valentine’s Day treats for its customers. On February 6, 2025, Tim Hortons US took to its Instagram to announce the release of a unique donut and strawberry iced Capp. The post read:
“A Heart-sprinkled donut and Chocolate Covered Strawberry Iced Capp. The Perfect Match for you and yours.”
According to QSR Magazine, the special donuts include a choice between a yeast donut coated in vanilla icing or one filled with Boston cream and covered in chocolate fondant. Both are topped with festive heart-shaped sprinkles.
The Chocolate Covered Strawberry Iced Capp combines strawberry puree with rich chocolate syrup for a sweet and creamy flavor. Each drink is finished with heart-shaped sprinkles. Tim Hortons has mentioned that the two launches will be available only for a limited time and across the participating locations in the US.
It seems like social media users get a taste of the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Iced Capp before the official release, which could be a part of the testing phase. On January 29, 2025, one X user (@AkumaMikoVT) shared:
“Tim Hortons has a strawberry chocolate iced capp for Valentine’s Day, sh*ts so f*cking fire.”
On January 24, 2025, the restaurant chain released a Valentine’s Day special merchandise collection called “You Complete Me.” The collection includes ceramic mugs, a keychain charm set, and a 24 oz stainless steel sprinkles tumbler. Interested buyers can visit timshop.ca to explore the collection and other merchandise.
The key chain set is priced at $12.99 while the ceramic mug can be ordered for $14.99. They can be purchased online as well as from the participating locations.
Tim Hortons’ recent offers and philanthropic work
The restaurant chain recently introduced a value saver offer called “Tims Pairings.” As seen in an Instagram post from February 4, 2025, a small hot coffee can be combined with either omelet bites or avocado toast for just $4.
Similarly, the same coffee can be paired with a grilled breakfast wrap for just $5. More details regarding the offer can be accessed from the official website.
Tim Hortons has also extended support to the Olympics through its Special Olympics Donuts. To support the Special Olympics, one can visit their nearest restaurant and order a Special Olympics Donuts.
Tim Hortons is donating all profits from its Special Olympics Donut to support local Special Olympics programs. Each donut contributes $1.57 to the cause and is available for a limited time at participating locations in Michigan, New York, and Ohio.
Tims Rewards points cannot be earned or used for this purchase, as the donation is collected on behalf of Special Olympics.
According to Delish, in 2019, Tim Hortons introduced two special donuts for Valentine's Day. The first was the Vanilla Be Mine, a raspberry jam-filled treat covered in vanilla fondant with a red shimmer topping. The second was the Chocolate Be Mine, filled with cream, dipped in chocolate fondant, and finished with the same red shimmer.
The seasonal selection also included red velvet-inspired drinks and treats, such as a red velvet French vanilla latte, hot chocolate, cookies, muffins, and white chocolate cranberry scones.
