The Miss America 2025 competition concluded with Abbie Stockard, representing Alabama, taking the crown.

The finale was held on January 5, 2025, at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida. The evening began with 52 contestants from across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the District of Columbia. The preliminary rounds, which were held earlier in the week, narrowed the field to 11 finalists.


Abbie Stockard became the fourth Miss Alabama to claim the Miss America title

Abbie Stockard is a 22-year-old nursing student from Auburn University. She notably stood out in every category of the Miss America 2025 competition, which included talent, evening wear, and the interview round.

Her contemporary dance performance to Lauren Daigle’s You Say during the talent segment received appreciation from both the audience and judges. She wore a backless, glittering silver and white gown in the evening wear segment.

Finally, in the Hot Topics round, Abbie Stockard tackled a question on unemployment, talking about the need for upskilling and adapting to the current job market. As she won the title, fans took to social media platforms to congratulate and hype the new Miss America.
