Uniqlo has collaborated with Cactus Plant Flea Market and SpongeBob SquarePants to launch a limited collection of merchandise as the cartoon series celebrates its 25th anniversary.
The Uniqlo UT x SpongeBob x Cactus Plant Flea Market collection will be dropping on December 12 at 8:15 a.m. ET at select Uniqlo retailers across the U.S. and in online stores. However, the stock will be available for worldwide sale on December 13. The prices will vary from $14.90 to $49.90.
Making an announcement on Instagram, Uniqlo along with Cactus Plant Flea Market and SpongeBob SquarePants shared the news.
“SpongeBob SquarePants and Cactus Plant Flea Market exclusively at UNIQLO US December 12. Available worldwide from December 13.” The caption read.
SpongeBob SquarePants, a popular animated television show premiered on Nickelodeon on May 1, 1999. It follows the adventures of a yellow sponge living underwater in a Pineapple in the fictional city of Bikini Bottom. He works as a cook at Krusty Krab. The other characters include Patrick Star as his best friend, Squidward Tentacles as his grumpy neighbour and his greedy boss, Mr.Krabs.

The Uniqlo UT x SpongeBob x Cactus Plant Flea Market collection will include apparel, accessories and plush toys for the kids. Since it is a limited-edition Uniqlo UT has set a purchase limit on each product. It will be applicable both in-store and online.
For apparel, the limit applies to five items per pattern per customer, for accessories it applies to two items per customer, and for plush toys, it applies to one item per character per customer. The purchases are strictly prohibited for resale, according to the official website.
The apparel including hoodies and t-shirts will be available for both adults and kids. The prices will range between $14.90 - $49.90.
The Plush toys and accessories include a SpongeBob plushie, a Patrick Star plushie and a UV Protection Cap, ranging from $29.90 - $39.90.
Cynthia Lu’s Cactus Plant Flea Market has added their own twist to the new collection by including playful graphics.
