Coca-Cola Freestyle teased the launch of its new collection of drink mixes, and fans are excited, to say the least. The campaign for the Internet’s Favorite Mix collection is presented in visuals reminiscent of the Windows 98 graphics era with nostalgic screen icons and a moving cursor.
The visuals depict the cursor on the screen clicking on the “File” named Coca-Cola Freestyle New Mixes, which then unveils 6 mystery new additions.
@Markie_Devo on Instagram shared updates of the new collection for fans of the Freestyle, and varying reactions were recorded in the comments. While some found the 90s visuals and code names fun, others didn’t.
An Instagram user responded excitedly to the post:
“Totally going to Wawa tomorrow to look for the crybaby sprite, perfect for me.”
Others shared the same sentiment as they expressed excitement for the new collection.
A section of the comment section was unimpressed by the visuals and names of The Internet’s Favorite Mix and described them as “cringe,” “inauthentic,” and “narcissistic.”
