For many years, Taco Bell has amazed its fans with its best limited-time items. This year, the restaurant company has decided to surprise its fans with the relaunch of the Cheesy Dipping Burritos. Launched on January 16, 2025, the item is now available for order from nationwide stores.

The new Cheesy Dipping Burritos are served in pairs with grilled steak or slow-roasted Cantina chicken. They feature a gooey cheese coating inspired by the Grilled Cheese Burrito and are filled with protein, Avocado Ranch sauce, and a three-cheese blend.

Three dipping sauce options are available: Creamy Chipotle, Nacho Cheese Sauce, or Reduced-Fat Sour Cream for added flavor. The Burritos have an interesting backstory. In 2024, they were first made available for testing in Detroit, Michigan, where they reportedly became a favorite among buyers.

Following the success, Taco Bell brought it back to the menu, but only for a limited time and as long as supplies last. They are priced at $4.99. The company reportedly shared the news on TikTok with the caption:

“Y’all aren’t ready for cheesy dipping burritos.”

Customers can contact their nearest Taco Bell restaurants to find out if the item is available. Delivery charges will be added to the price and taxes. In a press release about the announcement, the company mentioned that the launch will initiate more flavors and formats for 2025.

Here’s what reviewers think about Taco Bell’s Cheesy Dipping Burritos

YouTuber Tony from FoodSesh shared a review of the Taco Bell Cheesy Dipping Burritos on January 17, 2025. His first impression was that they were neither too big nor too small. The two burritos are adjoined with the cheese and can be tried as a whole or as singles after neatly separating them. He took a first bite of the Cantina Chicken flavor and liked it instantly. He also said:

“After eating half of the cheesy chicken burrito, this thing is definitely banging guys. The chicken is nice and flavorful, nice and seasoned. You get that avocado ranch sauce. The tortilla is nice and soft and you get that extra grilled cheese right there as the icing on the cake guys.”

He dipped the burrito in an extra avocado sauce as he felt too much sauce would not harm the taste. Tony recommended trying the burrito with the other sauces if one wants to be more creative. He thought Taco Bell's chicken Cheesy Dipping Burrito was much better, bigger, and heavier than he thought it would be and scored it 9.1 out of 10.

He then tried the steak cheese and was immediately impressed by the quality of the steak used in the item, acknowledging that it was something that most food establishments failed to keep up with. Nevertheless, Tony liked the chicken more than the steak, which became his favorite.

YouTuber Morgan Champs shared a review of Taco Bell's steak Cheesy-Dipping Burrito. After the first bite, she found it packed with steak. The flavors went well with the crispy, cheesy coating. However, she thought it was more like a Steak Quesadilla.
