Starbucks launches new instant coffee in 3 flavors: Details you need to know

Café company Starbucks has launched a new instant coffee range “Crema Collection” in three flavors. However, it is expected to be different than any other instant coffee. While instant coffee, for that matter, is chosen by coffee lovers for hassle-free preparation, it mostly leaves out the creamy texture.

Addressing this concern, Starbucks has introduced the Crema Collection instant coffee which adds the right frothiness. According to Food & Wine, this instant coffee collection is made to form a rich, foamy layer over its arabica coffee.

The three flavors in this lineup are Salted Caramel, Madagascar Vanilla, and Molten Chocolate. As per reports, the brand aims to fill a gap in the market for instant coffee with a creamy texture with the introduction of instant coffee. The coffee company describes the collection as:

“Discover an instant uplift from Starbucks® Crema Collection Premium Instant Coffee. Hot or iced, you can make a smooth and frothy delicious cup in an instant.”

The three instant coffee flavors are not yet available for purchase as per the official website but will be out soon. However, social media reports suggest that are already available in stores.

To make a hot drink, mix 1.5 tablespoons of coffee with 8 ounces of hot water, stir until it foams, and add milk if desired. For an iced version, one needs to mix the same amount of coffee with 4 ounces of cold water, stir until foamy, and then add 4 ounces of ice and milk if preferred.

The coffee mix contains sugar, salt, instant coffee, dried glucose syrup, milk, natural flavors, milk fat, lactose, and natural flavors. It includes milk and wheat and is naturally flavored to ensure a rich and high-quality taste in every cup.

The Madagascar Vanilla flavor of the Crema Collection instant coffee gives a velvety and rich taste experience. However, the Salted Caramel flavor has a slightly different taste as it is described as:

Almost similar in terms of the content and as the name suggests, the Molten Chocolate flavor gives a luscious and chocolaty touch to the taste. According to a statement from a Starbucks spokesperson to Food & Wine:

“Unlike other beverages currently on the market, Crema Collection sips differently and is truly unique with its crafted foam texture, providing a luxurious café-quality experience in the comfort of consumers’ own homes.”

The person added that the café company recognized that many coffee drinkers wanted convenient, flavorful options to boost their mood, especially in the afternoon.
