Starbucks announces new Winter Menu in 2025: Details explored

We need food that can comfort us during winter, and Starbucks has decided to fulfill our wish. The coffee giant has introduced its new winter menu for 2025, and foodies cannot keep cool. The announcement was not official, but the news broke out after food blogger Markie Devo shared an Instagram post on November 27, 2024.

The menu is reported to have been launched today, i.e., January 2, 2025. Before further details, let us look at what the new menu is expected to have.

While sharing the post, Markie Devo said that the items mentioned above were speculated to be a part of the Starbucks winter menu 2025, and his source for the images was an employee who worked at the coffee giant.

As per reports, the Cortado is the standout item from the menu, and Devie mentioned that it was a higher-profile Cortado. The regular one contains three shots of blonde espresso and steamed milk.

On the other hand, the Brown Sugar Oatmilk Cortado comes with additional brown sugar syrup, steamed oat milk, and cinnamon powder. According to the post, these two beverages are available in short.

Starbucks will reportedly have a new Matcha Formula in which the Matcha powder will remain unsweetened. It will only be sweetened with classic syrup. However, customers will get more customization options for their favorite Iced Matcha Latte.

Why should the Cortado from Starbucks be a must-try?

According to Food & Wine, Starbucks beverage developer Ricky Gonzalez described the ristretto shots in the Cortado as delivering a bold yet smooth flavor. These shots use the same coffee grounds as regular espresso but with less water and a shorter extraction time, creating a sweeter, richer taste. The balanced flavor pairs well with whole or oat milk, enhancing the Cortado's signature smoothness.

With so many details already spilling out about the beverage, it undoubtedly becomes a must-try. However, one must order the new Falafel Pocket from the Starbucks winter menu and try it with the Bitchin’ Sauce Chipotle Almond dip made with almonds, herbs, and spices.

The Spicy Falafel Pocket has an interesting blend of smashed falafel, hummus, and other ingredients. The item will reportedly become a permanent addition to the menu. Netizens had some interesting thoughts about the new menu, as many commented on the Instagram post saying,

The Instagram post mentions that the café giant will share its Valentine’s Day menu on February 4, 2025. The speculated menu will reportedly have additions such as Blackberry Sage Refresher, Strawberry Crème Frap, Chocolate Hazelnut Cookie Cold Brew, and Valentine Cake Top, available in vanilla and buttercream flavors.
