"So Crocs": Fans give mixed reaction to the latest Nike Air Max 1000 footwear showcased a ComplexCon

On November 15, the sportswear and equipment company Nike took Instagram by storm with a video on their new shoe, the Nike Air Max 1000. The AIRMAX 1000 will be available exclusively at ComplexCon in Las Vegas from November 16 to November 17.

These Nike Air Max 1000 were produced in collaboration with 3D printing company Zellerfeld. It comes in a completely new design of the Air Max 1 with 3D printing and visible Air cushioning.


Before the new AIRMAX 1000 debuted at ComplexCon on Saturday, Nike posted a video on its Instagram page that gave fans an early preview of the shoes.

The reel captioned:

"Nike Air is not just a shoe. It's innovation and the constant pursuit of pushing design into new spaces. The AIRMAX 1000, manufactured in partnership with Zellerfeld, reinvents the iconic Air Max 1 for Nike's latest expression of visible Air cushioning. Launching exclusively at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, from 11.16 to 11.17."

3D printing helps the brand use the materials accurately, and it will reduce waste during its production. Its bold look is combined with new texture and pattern, contributing to its features.

Nike also informed fans on their official website that visitors can win special Air Max 1000 sneakers, which are only available at ComplexCon. They’ll also see how Nike’s Air technology started, from Frank Rudy’s original invention to the first Nike Air shoe designs.

After the post was uploaded on Nike's official Instagram page on November 15, fans gave a mixed reaction to the Nike Air Max 1000, with some showing excitement and some feeling unsure about the design.
