She also talked about her newfound friendship with pop icon Taylor Swift, who had given her four bags of merchandise, with a note saying that the basketball player was interesting to watch from afar when she attended the Eras tour. Swift also invited Caitlin Clark to watch a Kansas City Chiefs game with her.
Caitlin Clark also commented on the supposed drama between herself and Chicago power forward Angel Reese. She described the media pitting them against each other as a needless “fabricated controversy” as they were very respectful of each other.
