Pizza Hut Canada has just unveiled a new accessory to keep your pizzas hot while playing on your PS5: a 3-D printed model that uses the heat from your gaming console. Dubbed PIZZAWRMR, the “console upgrade” accessory was inspired by the brand's legendary roof.

Here's what the official website states:

"Designed to snugly affix to the top of your gaming console, with a tray that fits several slices. It won't go anywhere, and you won't have to either grab warm pizza while you play."

It can be placed atop the console, and the heat emitted from it will circulate within the gadget and keep your slices warm. According to Hypebeast, the lid opens up to reveal an aluminum tray that can house several slices simultaneously. Notably, the PIZZAWRMR was designed for the PS5 Slim model but is compatible with other gaming consoles of a similar size.

Reportedly, the model is freely available to download online from the official Pizza Hut Canada website, which means that it isn't a limited edition piece. However, according to Toms Guide, you will need one of the best 3D printers in town to download it. Per the outlet, the 3D printer needs to have a minimum build volume of 15 x 15 inches.

Per the outlet, it is unclear just how long it takes to print such a gadget, but based on the number of parts and sizing, it should take more than a day or two. The Pizza Hut Canada website recommends using food-safe materials to do the same, namely, PLA plastic.

As for the caveats that it comes with, like grease spilling everywhere, the website recommends placing a 34 x 23 x 2.5 cm foil tray inside the gadget. The PIZZAWRMR first made its debut on the company's official YouTube channel, although it went relatively unnoticed until this week.

As reported by The Mirror, it is possible that Sony complained and it was all scrapped, though it remains to be confirmed. At the time of writing, the plans are still available on the website.

Notably, this isn't the first food warmer of its kind. In 2020, KFC dropped a bucket-shaped console. While it may have started as a joke, it eventually went on to become a real gadget that could house freshly made fried chicken. Akin to the Pizza Warmer, it used the console's heat to keep the food warm and crispy.
