Panera spent the last year revamping its menu, and the latest addition to it is the Ciabatta Dipper. These sandwiches come in two flavors, and come with a soupy side for the perfect pairing. An Instagram post announcing the news reads:
"Our NEW Ciabatta Dippers have just DIPPED in to a Panera near you for a limited time! Stop by your local cafe to try our two delicious sandwiches paired with perfect portion of soup for dipping! Try Spicy Chicken Ciabatta Dipper and French Ciabatta Dipper today🤌."
Here's all you need to know about Panera's Ciabatta Dippers
The Ciabatta Dippers are two new sandwiches designed just to dip into the soup it comes with. These come in two options, the Spicy Chicken Ciabatta Dipper and the French Ciabatta Dipper.
The former features marinated steak, provolone, asiago, and hints of garlic aioli. It sits between ciabatta and pairs well with the Bistro French Onion Soup for dipping. As for the Spicy Chicken Dipper, it features grilled chicken with salsa verde spread and some provolone, all of which are packed within the ciabatta. This sandwich is best enjoyed with the side of Creamy Tomato Soup it comes with.
The two melts are now available to purchase at participating outlets all over the nation. Plus, for those confused, Panera is offering the You Pick 2 options, allowing customers to either try half a sandwich or both. Plus, these sandwiches are customizable to your liking and preferences, except for the bread.
According to Retail Wire, Mark Shambura, chief marketing officer, said in a statement in the press release:
"At Panera, our guests have shown us just how much they enjoy pairing menu items, especially dipping their sandwiches into our signature soups. Inspired by this love for creative combinations, we’ve crafted two delicious new menu items for guests to ditch the spoon and embrace the dip. There’s nothing better than the pairing of a melty sandwich with the perfectly portioned, savory soup, and we’re excited to bring both together for a great value.”
For MyPanera members, it's an even more exciting time. From now until November 17, members can head on to the Panera iOS app to activate the promotion. This means that with every purchase of a Ciabatta Dipper or other qualifying Panera sandwiches, members will get double visit credit for their loyalty reward.
