"Nothing without sport mode": Fans react to Angel Reese's new commercial for McDonald's featuring Lisa Leslie & Breanna Stewart

Fast food company McDonald’s has launched its latest advertisement on February 10, 2025. The new ad features WNBA players Angel Reese, Lisa Leslie, and Breanna Stewart. As per reports, the latest advertisement was shown during the Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025.

The commercial begins with Reese asking what was inside Lisa Lesli’s bag, to which the latter replies:

“A Barbeque Bacon QPC from McDonald’s.”

Resse sarcastically suggested that it was the “Angel Resse Special” order and challenged her to a game. Breanna Stewart appeared in the second half of the commercial. The collaboration was regarding the launch of MCD’s first-ever female athlete meal honoring Reese.

The advertisement has drawn reactions from social media users. Many reviewed the meal while others complimented the commercial. Footwear company Crocs reacted to it by saying:

“nothing but net... nothing without sport mode.”

Social media users said they like McDonald’s commercial, calling Angel Reese “iconic.”

“sheesh, my fav burger is back. I need to go now! Haha,” a person commented.

“I tried the BBQ Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese! OMG it was divine!” a social media user pointed out.

Other X users also sang in praise of the three players.
