Nike SB is reportedly gearing up to release another addition to its popular Orange Label series: the Nike SB Dunk Low "University Blue" sneakers. The latest colorway is expected to target sneaker enthusiasts worldwide, and skateboarders in particular. The "University Blue" iteration is a part of the brand's Orange Label series, a line that is exclusive to skate shops, and carries forward Nike SB’s tradition of catering specifically to the skateboarding community.

How might the Nike SB Dunk Low "University Blue" sneakers look?

The Nike SB Dunk Low "University Blue" shoes reportedly come with a new aesthetic to the Orange Label lineup. This edition's upper features a mix of nubuck and suede to offer durability to skateboarders. Its color palette is detailed as University Blue/ Sail- Psychic Blue- Gum Light Brown- Safety Orange.

The University Blue shade mainly features on the exterior of the sneakers, and goes right up to the padded tongue and interior lining. White leather Swooshes add a contrast to the blue upper and the overall design of the sneakers.

The heel branding of the Nike SB Dunk Low "University Blue" sneakers also appears in white, while the Orange Label’s signature touch comes in the form of an orange logo on the tongue tag and insoles. With this detail, Nike subtly reinforces the shoe's skate shop-exclusive identity.

The midsole of the upcoming sneakers is dressed in white, reports say. It complements the upper and swoosh.

Gum soles have long been one of the favorite spec choices of the global skate community. The "University Blue" iteration of the SB Dunk Low also has a gum rubber outsole.

One of the signature features of Nike SB Dunks is the "fat tongue," a padded design element meant to provide comfort during skate sessions. The "University Blue" iteration retains this feature.
