Design and features of the Nike Pegasus Premium sneakers: Speculations so far
A reported standout feature of the Pegasus Premium sneakers is the full-length sculpted Air Zoom unit, which will be visible through the shoe’s sole.
Unlike the traditional flat Air Zoom units, this one is ergonomically designed to mimic the foot’s natural shape, reports say. It is expected to provide efficient energy transfer from heel to toe.
Complementing the Air Zoom unit are ZoomX foam in the midsole, and ReactX foam in the heel. These materials are anticipated to make the Pegasus Premium one of the most comfortable running shoes in the Pegasus line’s 42-year history.
The upper of the Nike Pegasus Premium sneakers features an engineered circular knit for breathability. The material is also reinforced in areas that need extra support, such as the lateral and medial forefoot.
As per reports, Nike has also incorporated its dynamic midfoot system on the shoes for a personalized fit, which is a hallmark of the Pegasus line.
The launch colorway reportedly combines a white upper with total orange accents, highlighting the visible Air Zoom unit. Future releases are speculated to include a grey or total orange colorway.
Reported release details
The Nike Pegasus Premium sneakers will reportedly retail for $200 and will be available in both men’s and women’s sizing. Once released, sneakerheads around the globe will be able to purchase the pair on Nike’s official website, the Nike SNKRS app, and select retail locations.
Alongside the reported January release, additional colorways are also speculated to be launched in 2025.
