This latest iteration brings a new design to the brand’s flagship running shoe. The Pegasus series has been a staple in Nike’s catalog for decades. Now, with the reported Pegasus Premium “Persian Violet” sneakers, the line continues to expand.

How might the Nike Pegasus Premium “Persian Violet” sneakers look?

The “Persian Violet” colorway is the latest in the Pegasus Premium lineup of the brand. It has been featured with modern features. The colorway of these sneakers is labeled White/ Ghost Black/ Persian Violet, reports say.

For the first time in the Pegasus series, the Premium version features a visible full-length Zoom Air unit. This technology delivers energy return. It will offer the wearers a responsive feel underfoot. The foam midsole is another useful feature of the Pegasus Premium “Persian Violet” sneakers. It is a hallmark of the Pegasus line.

Additionally, a forefoot rocker has also been added for comfort. The upper of the sneakers features engineered knit material. The purple tones of Persian Violet dominate the design.

Accents of Ghost and White add balance to the color palette. Subtle Nike branding has also been incorporated into the Pegasus Premium “Persian Violet” sneakers.

Underfoot, a black outsole is sported. It is expected to provide good grip and stability across various terrains. The “Persian Violet” color scheme is a standout feature of this iteration of the Pegasus line.

The purple shades are inspired by the Air Max BW from 1991. These are further complemented by lighter shades in the knit upper. Nike describes its Pegasus Premium line, stating,

"What's the next great running innovation? It's a question that has inspired Nike since the very beginning. In 1970, Bill Bowerman used his wife's waffle iron to create the tread for some of the brand's earliest running shoes. Today, the same drive to innovate a culture of creativity has spurred a new generation of Nike footwear."

It continues:

"The Pegasus Premium is the company's latest innovation—designed with Nike's first sculpted visible full-length Air Zoom unit."

The Nike Pegasus Premium “Persian Violet” sneakers are expected to hit the shelves in the summer of 2025. It will be available at select Nike Running retailers, online, and on Nike.com at $210.
