Nike is reportedly set to release the Air Max Sunder Premium “Hemp” sneakers in Spring 2025. According to reports, the upcoming sneakers will have a colorway described as Hemp/ Sanddrift - Coconut Milk and a Stock-Keeping Unit (SKU) labeled HV4510-200.

As per reports, Nike has swapped out Sunder’s typical materials for a premium leather construction in this “Hemp” iteration of the beloved sneaker line.

Disclaimer: Details of the Air Max Sunder Premium “Hemp” sneakers are only speculated, and not yet confirmed by the brand. They are subject to change.

The Nike Air Max Sunder is a beloved silhouette from the 2000s. With its laceless design and performance-oriented build, this silhouette has been a favorite among sneaker enthusiasts.

It was first reintroduced by Nike in 2022 in collaboration with COMME des GARÇONS Homme Plus. The Sunder gained further additions in 2024 with new colorways and collaborations, including Kids of Immigrants' “Sunrise” and “Sun Down” editions.

How might the Nike Air Max Sunder Premium “Hemp” sneakers look?

The “Hemp” edition is reportedly departing from the neoprene and mesh construction that is a signature feature of the standard Sunder. This premium version features a full-leather upper in an earthy color palette.

The Hemp hue is accented with tan leather mudguards and crisp white TPR (thermoplastic rubber) pods. A metallic silver mini Swoosh adds a touch of branding to the lateral side. It also visibly balances the natural tones of the shoes. The latest edition retains the silhouette's signature Air cushioning in the sole.

One of the most notable upgrades in the Nike Air Sunder Premium “Hemp” sneakers is its leather upper, which provides a polished look compared to the usual look of nylon or neoprene. The leather also features a textured finish.

The “Hemp” color scheme features a mix of earthy tones, that mainly comprise brown and tan. This palette is expected to make the sneaker versatile for casual outfits, polished ensembles, and more.

Nike Sunder’s chunky midsole and visible Air units remain unchanged in the Sunder Premium “Hemp” sneakers. Another feature that ties the latest edition to its original silhouette is a zipper closure system that the sneaker has been featured with for easy wear.

Reported release details and availability

The Nike Air Max Sunder Premium “Hemp” sneaker is set to release in Spring 2025, with availability expected through Nike’s official website, the SNKRS app, and select retailers, reports say.

The exact pricing of the shoes has yet to be announced. However, the use of premium materials suggests it will likely get a slightly higher price point than standard Sunder releases. Speculation has it that extended women’s sizing will also be available, making this drop accessible to a wider audience.
