The holiday season will be merrier for Air Jordan 3 fans as Nike is launching the latest edition of the iconic sneaker line in full-family sizes. "Black Cement" is scheduled for release on November 23, 2024. It comes in three different size categories and three different price points.
The AJ3 line is one of the most loved sneakers in the basketball and footwear industry. This time, it features a full-family sizing lineup. The men's sizes have a price point of USD 220, while the Big Kids' sizes will come at USD 150. The Little Kids' size variations will have a price point of USD 90. All of them will be available for purchase via Nike's official website, Nike SNKRS, and other select retail locations.
Nike Air Jordan 3 "Black Cement" comes in whole-family sizes
The Air Jordan 3 is Michael Jordan’s third signature shoe. It was first launched in 1988 and became popular among fans. It was designed by Tinker Hatfield. This silhouette introduced some features never seen before on a basketball shoe. It was the first Jordan sneaker to showcase the Jumpman logo, the first to use visible Air-Sole units, and the first to feature the elephant print overlay.
During the famous Slam Dunk Contest of 1988, Michael Jordan sported these shoes in the "White Cement" colorway. Below is what Nike had to mention about these shoes:
"You don’t become a certified classic without doing some things the world’s never seen before. Our third Air Jordan hits with a lot of firsts. The first with the Jumpman on it. The first time anyone saw elephant print on a sneaker. The first Jordan designed by Tinker."
It continues:
"And just like greatness, this shoe doesn’t come around that often. When it does, it's special. This "Black Cement" edition is as close to the feel, fit and shape of the original that released in '88."
This latest iteration of the loved line retains the original design while featuring some upgrades.
The sneaker sports black leather with overlays of textured elephant print on the toebox and heel. The traditional Black/ Cement Grey/ Summit White/ Fire Red color scheme remains intact in this edition. The black leather base is contrasted with the gray elephant print. Accents of fire red are sported on the tongue and eyelets.
Men's shoes are priced at USD 220. The little kids' sizes are priced at USD 90, while big kids' sizes come at USD 150. The product description of the Big Kids' shoes is as follows.
"Bold colors and classic details give the AJ3 a fun, throwback look. It's modeled after Mike's game shoe from the '80s, so you'll be walking in the footsteps of a legend."
