Basketball legend De’Aaron Fox has collaborated with sportswear company Under Armour to bring the first-of-a-kind De' Aaron Fox x Under Armour Curry Fox 1 shoe design. As the name suggests, the basketball shoes are a part of Steph Curry’s line, which has been the sportswear company’s partner for many years.
In October 2023, the basketball player of the Sacramento Kings became the first signature athlete to join Curry Brand. De’Aaron Fox’s first signature sneaker, the Fox 1, was launched on December 6, 2024, in the "Happy Fox Day" colorway.
However, as per the official website, the shoes are now sold out. Despite that, the excitement of fans went unnoticed as one Instagram user wrote,
“Major KD 4 year of the dragon vibes.”
Social media users were excited about Fox 1 while others seemed to have different requirements from the shoe range.
“Wow, it's cool. I think it can catch up with lightning when I wear it.”
“Was gonna get these… if you hit one more three to top my parlay.”
“Yall have yet to add curry 12s in the Under Amour store.”
Netizens said they needed more colors in the category. Buyers pointed out that the shoes were comfortable but others wanted them in toddler sizes.
“We need more colour ways with the NBA player’s signature shoes atleast 3 selections.”

The De'Aaron Fox x Under Armour Curry Fox 1 has a design that radiates bright blue, orange, and metallic gold accents. Priced at $120, the sneakers were available globally through Under Armour's website, Brand Houses, and select DICK'S Sporting Goods locations and online stores.

As per a press release on the official website underarmour.com, the Fox 1 basketball shoe is entirely inspired by the basketball legend and is designed to provide maximum speed and performance to players. However, according to a statement by De'Aaron Fox,
“Together we created a sneaker that not only performs at the highest level on the court but truly feels authentic to me in its design and every detail. From the fox tail on the strap to the sleek silhouette to the colorful accents, everything about this sneaker embodies the joy and passion I try to bring to my game every single day.”
The description also mentions that the Fox 1 sneaker is designed to highlight De’Aaron Fox’s speed and reflect his dynamic personality, introducing a fresh aesthetic to the Curry Brand lineup.
The lightweight, runner-inspired silhouette features breathable two-tone mesh for a sleek, low-profile design. A strap across the top, shaped like a fox tail, adds visual flair and functional lockdown support.

It also has “fur” detailing on the tongue and Fox’s signature logo, integrating a fox, the number 5, and the letter “D.” A Terranina suede overlay enhances durability and provides a premium finish, while a TPU heel counter ensures heel stability.
Under Armour's FLOW technology is incorporated into the sole, delivering the brand’s trademark grip and traction.
