Popular chocolate brand Kit Kat has decided to skip over Christmas and New Year's and jumped to the next big event - Valentine's Day. The chocolate giant experimented with the shape of its chocolate bar for the first time ever this year with the Kit Kat Santas.
After the successful launch of this shape, the company is all set to launch yet another new shape, Kit Kat Bears ahead of the season of all things love. The brand is expected to release the chocolates by early January 2025 for $5.99.
While the candy bar's general shape has remained the same, the company has played around with the embossing on the chocolate bar. Instead of the usual brand name embossed on top of the bar, the Valentine's edition will have a cute bear imprinted on the chocolate bar.
The description on the official website reads as follows.
Add a touch of bear-y sweet charm to your celebrations with these adorable treats! These charming, bear-shaped KIT KAT® Milk Chocolate Snack Size Bears are perfect for spreading love to friends, family or your favorite Valentine.
The candy bar features a teddy bear with a heart nose and a heart chest, holding up a heart - perfect to set the tone for the festival of love. Like the Santa bars, these Valentine's edition Kit Kat bars are also a single piece, straying away from the usual design that allows you to break it down the middle.
You can still share the Kit Kat bar with your significant other - it's just that instead of getting two individual pieces, you'll be breaking off the candy bar in a manner where one gets the head of the teddy bear while the other gets the feet.
Kit Kat Valentine's Day bars: Where to get and more
Hershey's has decided to get ahead of the program and launch its Valentine's edition chocolates and candy bars much ahead of its competition. So, the special Valentine's edition bear-shaped Kit Kat bars will be available at retailers nationwide this winter. The bars are available in 8.85 oz bags priced at $5.99.
However, it has been mentioned that these bars will be available for a limited period, so you can go ahead and get your hands on them before they run out.
The Kit Kat bears will be up there with Hershey's' other Valentine's Day special chocolates - Raspberry Creme Kit Kats, Snoopy Hershey's Kisses, and Twizzlers Hearts, along with yet another new launch - the Reese’s Red Velvet Cups.
