A Kate Moss x Zara collaboration is forthcoming, slated to hit the shelves on November 30, 2024. The collection will feature party wear and will include "effortlessly chic but with an edge," the supermodel said in a statement on October 11, 2024. Moss collaborated with Marta Ortega Pérez, the chair of the company that owns Zara, Inditex, as well as Katy England, her stylist and close friend.

While glimpses of the collection have yet to drop, Moss did offer insights into what to expect, noting that it will include both clothing and accessories. The last time she produced such a collaboration was with Topshop back in 2007. It featured tea dresses, extravagant jackets, and short shorts. The venture was a massive hit for the veteran fashion icon, running for seven years straight.

Kate Moss says she's "excited" to work in fashion design again

Per Elle, Kate Moss, born Katherine Ann Moss, said in a statement on Friday, October 11,

"For this collection, I wanted to create the perfect party capsule – pieces that feel effortlessly chic but with an edge. Mixing classic cuts with just the right amount of glam to take you through the party season."

She continued, reflecting on how she felt about the project, noting that she was eager to lend her talents in designing again:

"I’ve enjoyed working with Zara on campaigns over the years and always loved their collaborations so when Marta [Ortega Pérez, president of Zara owner Inditex] and I first talked about this project I was excited… getting to design clothes again and work with Katy England."

Katy England, the British model's close friend, is renowned for her work at Alexander McQueen. The British stylist played a huge role alongside Lee McQueen for more than a decade. She is perhaps most popular for her rock 'n' roll, edgy aesthetics, offering fans a vague idea of what is to come.

Given her established penchant for producing fan-favorite collaborations, fans are teeming with excitement. Only time will tell what Kate Moss has in store for her fans, as the collection is expected to drop just in time for the festive season.

Just this week, Inditex launched an initiative that invests about $54.75 million across innovative projects, with a keen focus on the textile sector, El Confidencial reported on Friday, October 11, 2024.

The company confirmed the same to Reuters. The company's goal is to uncover or shed light on start-ups that focus on producing groundbreaking technology in the world of fashion. This includes uncovering sustainable materials.
