Jayson Tatum is making waves both on and off the basketball court. Fresh off leading the Boston Celtics to their first NBA championship since 2008, the 26-year-old star is getting all the attention from the sneaker industry.

The Tatum 3 is Tatum’s third signature sneaker under the Jordan Brand. The partnership began in 2019. Jordan Brand was originally launched by Michael Jordan and Nike in 1984. It has dropped several beloved models. With a blue-based design, the upcoming "Blueprint" is expected to generate buzz among sneakerheads.

Reported design elements and specs of the Jordan Tatum 3 “Blueprint” sneakers

The Jordan Tatum 3 "Blueprint" reportedly comes with graph-inspired elements, dimensional lines, and sketch-like details across its upper.

The sneaker allegedly features a Pacific Blue, Game Royal, and University Blue color scheme. The entire upper is clad in various shades of blue. With this, the "Blueprint" iteration takes a monochromatic approach.

Additionally, the upper reportedly features hand-drawn elements and words that give a nod to Tatum's journey. The JT and Jumpman logo has been positioned on the medial side and heel. These marks are embedded into the blueprint-style patterns.

Incorporating a personal touch of Tatum, a white embroidered 0 is reported to be sported on the heel. It refers to Tatum’s jersey number and his one-year stint at Duke University.

Subtle black and white accents have allegedly been featured on the overall speculated design of the shoes that create contrast. It keeps the Tatum 3 “Blueprint” sneakers from looking too one-dimensional.

Lightweight build, secure lacing system, cushioned midsole, and multi-directional traction patterns are some of its reported performance features. Moreover, a TPU plate with glossy borders extends along the midfoot.

However, the relatively bold aesthetic of the Tatum 3 “Blueprint” might not suit those who prefer more subtle or neutral sneakers. Additionally, the lightweight materials and traction pattern may wear down faster on rough outdoor surfaces.

Nike presents the Tatum 3 on its official website, stating,

"Made for movers and shakers, the Tatum 3 offers a conforming fit in a lightweight design, helping you dominate the game in the smoothest of fashion. Sound familiar? A strong but flexible upper gives you the containment and stretch that quick cuts and dynamic movements demand."
