Infinite Archives teamed up with Jordan Brand for the release of two Air Jordan 17 Low colorways. Unveiled at Paris Fashion Week by Isimeme “Easy” Otabor, the founder of Infinite Archives, this collaboration celebrates the brand’s 10th anniversary.

According to Hypebeast, the Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low is slated for a Fall 2025 release, with a retail price of around $300.

Infinite Archives was established in 2015. It has made a name for itself by contributing to fields like art, music, sports, and pop culture. The brand has previously worked with industry heavyweights like KAWS, Hiroshi Fujiwara, and Virgil Abloh.

Now, for the first time, Infinite Archives is set to bring its mark to a Jordan Brand silhouette.

How might the Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low sneakers look?

According to Sneaker News, the Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low will come in two varied colorways: Beach/ Metallic Silver/ Black and Beach/ Metallic Copper/ Black.

The base of the sneaker is crafted from smooth beach-colored leather. This neutral tone is then complemented by black tongues, which add a contrast to the design of the shoes.

Metallic accents in either silver or copper have been incorporated into the design. A translucent outsole rounds off the look. This feature is expected to provide a modern finish to the sneakers that ties the design elements together.

Infinite Archives branding has also been sported on the shoe. Additionally, each pair is expected to come in specially designed packaging. This will add a layer of exclusivity to this anticipated release.

Release details and other speculations

The Infinite Archives x Air Jordan 17 Low is expected to drop in Fall 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and Nike.com. With a retail price of $300, these sneakers are expected to sell out quickly, given their limited-edition status.

While detailed stories behind each colorway’s inspiration have yet to be revealed, the use of metallic accents and beach tones suggests a blend of retro designs and contemporary minimalism. Fans can also expect the sneakers to feature premium materials, which will justify their relatively higher price point.

Nike presents the Air Jordan 17 sneakers line on its official website, stating,

"In the 2001-2002 NBA season, MJ returned to the game after his second retirement—this time as a member of the Washington Wizards. Commemorating his reemergence, Nike brought back designer Wilson Smith lll to create an Air Jordan that met the moment."

It also includes,

"To capture MJ’s mid-air wizardry and ability to improvise in flight, the AJ 17’s design drew from the improvisational nature of jazz. As the AJ 17 design started, the Jordan Brand signed the first musician, jazz player Mike Phillips to the brand roster."
