Burger King is celebrating National Fried Chicken Sandwich Day this November 9 by giving away a free Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich. To avail of this, customers need only spend $5 or more.
Burger King's Royal Crispy Chicken Sandwich typically retails for about $6. It comes with a toasted potato bun that sandwiches tomato, lettuce, and mayo, along with the breaded burger itself, which is coated in a savory sauce.

The offer is only valid today, and only members of Royal Perks, Burker King's loyalty program, are eligible. Notably, signing up is free and can be done via the official app or website.
The franchise pulled off a similar stint in April by handing out a free Whopper for every purchase to celebrate the solar eclipse. Just this October, they had the same buy one get one offer on the Whoppers to celebrate the Supermoon.
According to Marketing Drive, while the brand may have been struggling in the third quarter of the fiscal year, its new advertisements and promotional campaigns may just work in its favor.
The chain will also launch the all-new Advent Calendar on November 22. It sells for $19.54, a nod to the year the chain was born. The calendar comprises 12 items, such as Chicken Fries and the Whopper, as well as memorabilia and references to some of Burger King's most iconic moments, like the Burger King Kids Club from the ’90s. All of the items on the calendar also nod to its past and present menus.
According to the official website, the full list of items is likely to come out in mid-November, and "the retail value of all items contained within is more than $100." Those interested can text ADVENT to 251-251 to be placed on priority when the calendar hits the shelves.

Notably, Burger King is not the only franchise that has thrown its hat into the ring. Popeyes is handing out free classic, spicy, or ghost pepper chicken sandwiches for a minimum of every $10 purchase. This can also be availed on the app, in-store, or by delivery. Furthermore, the deal runs through till Sunday.
As for McDonald's, the chain is axing the prices of its McCrispy sandwiches to just $2 (formerly $5.30), while its 10-piece Chicken McNuggets will sell for $1 (formerly $5.60. The deal is valid until December 2.
