Doritos has always been experimental with its flavors and this time, they have announced the release of a new spicy flavor, the "Golden Siracha". The "Golden Siracha" Doritos was inspired by Gen Z's love of Siracha sauce on almost every meal.
You can expect the Doritos "Golden Siracha" to hit the stores any time this month (January 2025). You can also find them online by heading to the Snacks.com website. They will be available in two sizes: 9.25 ounces and 2.625 ounces, retailing at $6.25 and $2.69, respectively.

What will the "Golden Siracha" Doritos taste like?
According to Food & Wine, the "Golden Siracha" Doritos will have a "one-two punch of tangy and sweet" because of the two Siracha sauces used. Instead of just using the red Siracha, Doritos has decided to mix the green and the yellow Siracha sauces for a unique flavor.
When asked about the new Doritos flavor, the senior vice president of marketing at PepsiCo Foods North America, Tina Mahal, said:
"By keeping our finger on the pulse of trending and fan-favorite flavors, Doritos has developed a flair for putting an unexpected spin on beloved flavor profiles and elevating them to new heights. Doritos Golden Sriracha opens the door to an entirely new flavor that accomplishes a lofty task: putting a bold twist on Gen Z’s favorite hot sauce."
Mahal added:
"We’re excited to introduce loyal snackers, esteemed foodies, and everyone in between to the Doritos version of Sriracha — I have a feeling this new flavor will secure a permanent spot in fans’ pantries alongside their go-to bottle of Sriracha sauce."
In addition to the new flavor release, Doritos has recently revealed the 25 Crash the Super Bowl semifinalists just before the Superbowl begins.
The purpose of the Crash the Super Bowl competition is so that people can make ads. These ads will be sent to Doritos, which can be viewed at DoritosCrash.com. People will then vote for the best ad which will be broadcast during the Big Game. To make things sweeter for the winners, Doritos is offering them a $1 million prize too.
If you are interested in voting, you can head to the website (DoritosCrash.com) mentioned above on 14 January to choose your winners. The ads created by the semifinalists have been posted on Doritos' official Instagram account.
