Jordan Brand is reportedly set to release the Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make (MM) “Medium Olive” sneakers in Spring 2025. According to Sneaker News, on release, the shoes will be available for purchase via the official Nike website, SNRKS app, and select Jordan Brand retailers with a price tag of $130 arriving only in women's sizings.

Disclaimer: Details of the Air Jordan 1 Low MM “Medium Olive” sneakers are only speculated, and are not yet confirmed by the brand. They are subject to change.

The Air Jordan 1 had its debut in 1985. It has seen several iterations since. Among its many renditions, the Air Jordan 1 Low silhouette gained notable traction for its versatility.

This upcoming release is speculated to continue the MM series’ focus on premium materials. Unlike traditional AJ1 Lows, which often feature classic leather builds, the MM series experiments with textures and layering.

The “Medium Olive” colorway comes with a monochromatic design with a satin finish and structured overlays. Previous MM releases included the “Earth” and “Medium Grey” colorways, which received reasonable acclamation from fans.

Reported design elements and features of the Air Jordan 1 Low MM “Medium Olive” sneakers

The Air Jordan 1 Low MM “Medium Olive” takes a relatively minimal approach. Staying true to the MM concept, the sneaker features oversized, padded overlays that create a sculpted look. The layered construction gives it a more structured feel than the standard AJ1 Low.

The entire upper of the shoes is covered in a silky satin material in olive green. This gives the shoe a subtle sheen. Instead of standard flat laces, this pair has been featured with wide ribbon-like laces.

Unlike classic Air Jordan 1 models where the Swoosh is stitched onto the side, the MM series features deconstructed-style overlays. It makes the signature Swoosh blend into the upper. The Wings logo is debossed on the heel.

A slightly darker olive shade is used for the rubber midsole and outsole, reports say. The outsole retains the traditional Air Jordan 1 traction pattern.

Nike describes the Air Jordan 1 Low Method of Make silhouette on its official website, stating,

"The latest luxe creation from the Method of Make series takes your 'fit beyond the norm. The tonal design is color-matched throughout, from the tongue to the laces to the outsole. Oversized leather stitch detailing and super-clean metallic accents add a textural touch."

Some of the features that the brand has highlighted are:

  • Nike Air in the heel provides lightweight, resilient cushioning.
  • Solid rubber outsoles give you ample everyday traction.
  • Leather in the upper offers durability and structure.

Potential drawbacks of the Air Jordan 1 Low MM “Medium Olive” sneakers

The satin upper of the shoes is not the most durable. It may be prone to staining or fraying over time. On the other hand, its design is more suited for casual wear rather than physical activities.
