Nike has officially launched the Air Jordan 1 Low “Hydrogen Blue” sneakers. One can purchase the pair on the brand's official website, the SNKRS app, and other select retailers. The shoes were released on January 27, 2025, and are priced at $125.

The Air Jordan 1 Low is a more casual take on Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe. It debuted in 1985. The Air Jordan 1 has become a beloved part of the global sneaker industry. Its high-top version made headlines for its design and NBA controversy. Over the years, Jordan Brand has reimagined this classic time and again, with the “Hydrogen Blue” colorway being the latest.

Exploring the Air Jordan 1 Low “Hydrogen Blue” sneakers

This women’s-exclusive “Hydrogen Blue” iteration brings a pastel-inspired aesthetic to the beloved silhouette. It sports a relatively soft and minimal color palette of hydrogen blue and sail.

The upper of the shoes is crafted from premium leather. It features a hydrogen blue base with sail-colored overlays. This subtle contrast gives the shoe a balanced look. Smooth leather has been used throughout the design.

The hydrogen blue leather base is further complemented by sail leather overlays that extend from the toe box to the heel. The perforated toe box, which is a key feature of the Air Jordan 1 Low, has been sported for breathability.

A sail Nike Swoosh runs along the sides and into the overlays. The stitched Air Jordan Wings logo appears on the heel in matching blue. The tongue also sticks to the same theme, featuring a blue base with a sail Jumpman logo. Sail-colored laces tie the overall design together.

The midsole of the Air Jordan 1 Low "Hydrogen Blue" is clad in sail. It provides a contrast against the blue outsole. This color placement keeps the sneaker looking light, which can prove apt for the spring season.

This latest edition of the silhouette also features the brand's encapsulated Nike Air unit, a rubber outsole with a pivot-point pattern, and a padded collar.

Nike presents the shoes on its official website, stating:

"Fresh colors and an iconic silhouette give you an updated AJ1 without losing its familiar feel. Made with premium leather, this all-time favorite comes decked out with subtle design details to give you a staple sneaker with a modern look."

Some of the features of the latest Air Jordan 1 Low that the brand highlighted are:

  • Real leather on the upper offers durability and structure.
  • Encapsulated Nike Air unit provides lightweight cushioning.
  • Rubber in the outsole helps give you durable traction that's ideal for everyday wear.
  • Wings logo on the heel
  • Jumpman on tongue
  • Colorway: Hydrogen Blue/ Sail
  • Style: IB4003-407

The Air Jordan 1 Low “Hydrogen Blue” has been officially dropped on January 27, 2025. It is available at select Jordan Brand retailers, Nike.com, and online sneaker stores. The retail price is confirmed at $125.
