Victoria's Secret shows have long commanded attention for their extreme display of razzle, dazzle, style, and glamor. Here are some of the most secretive pregnancies on the Victoria's Secret runway
1) Irina Shayk
While Irina Shayk returned to the ramp for the first time in years, fans are reminded of when, back in 2016, she graced the runway with a small baby bump. Notably, it was also her last show before she took a hiatus.
Shayk now co-parents her daughter with actor Bradley Cooper. The Russian Victoria's Secret model managed to keep her baby bump hidden at the time with the use of some tricky clothing, such as a red fringed cloak and some matching undergarments. Notably, she was the fifth VS supermodel to ever do that.
2) Heidi Klum
Back in 2003, Heidi Klum strutted about on the runway, clad in some shimmery lingerie set and the iconic Victoria's Secret wings. It was only in May 2021, however, that the VS alum revealed that at the time, she was pregnant with her daughter Leni, who's now a model herself.
On the ramp, Klum was clad in the "very sexy" Fantasy Bra, and the gigantic wings. In an Instagram post, she revealed:
"I am not alone walking down that catwalk here. If I look close enough then I can see you bumping right along at 4 months @LeniKlum."
3) Alessandra Ambrósio
This VS supermodel and now-mother-of-two made jaws drop when she walked the runway in N.Y.C. in 2011. Given that she was four months pregnant at the time. According to People Magazine, Ambrósio was worried about squeezing into the tiny outfits. She said, according to the outlet,
"When I first found out I was pregnant I thought, ‘Oh my gosh I don’t think I’m going to be able to walk on the show.' A week before, I told my booker I don’t think I’m going to be able to fit into the clothes because I gained a few pounds already, but we were just quiet."
4) Lily Aldridge
Ambrósio was not the only one to strut the walkway while pregnant that year, as Lily Aldrige was also expecting her first child with husband Caleb Followill, of Kings of Leon fame. Just a month after the show, in December, the two announced their pregnancy to the world. They told People Magazine,
"We are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together. We can’t wait to meet the new addition to our family.”
Much like her fellow angels, the Taylor Swift squad member and veteran supermodel wore outfits that, perhaps deliberately and sneakily, covered the baby bump.
5) Doutzen Kroes
In 2013, Dutch model Doutzen Kroes was inducted into the exclusive Victoria's Secret model club. Given that she had just gotten pregnant, her bump was yet to show, allowing her to rock the runway in nothing but white, lacy lingerie and some flowy white wings to complete the Victoria's Secret look.
She divulged the happy news in an Instagram post on February 6, 2014, just months after the show. She uploaded a selfie of herself smiling, and the caption read:
"Almost 6 months pregnant with a girl [heart emoji] #happy."
