Devin Booker teamed up with Nike earlier this year to produce the Nike Book 1. Following a successful limited release of 500 pairs in Miami, the sneaker community eagerly awaits a full-scale launch this spring.

His latest creation to hit the shelves is the Nike Book 1 "USC Trojans" PE colorways, while the Nike Book 1 "Halloween" will make an appearance just in time for the spooky season. The kicks are a nod to his heritage, who he is, and what makes him Devin Booker.

As such, in the meantime, here’s a look at the top five Book 1 colorways expected to be crowd favorites, all hand-picked for their homage to classic design and Booker's inspirations.

Here are the top 5 Devin Booker x Nike Book 1 sneakers to keep an eye out for this year

1) Book 1 “Kobe 1 Protro” PE

These kicks feature a purplish hue and a sheen overtone. Not to mention the bright orange swoosh that stands out against the Phoenix Suns-inspired canvas. They were first spotted at a Lakers game in LA, and they draw inspiration from the first iteration, i.e. the 2018 kicks of the same name.

However, as per many outlets, the shoes don't come in large quantities, making it hard for fans to get their hands on a pair.

2) BOOK 1 “USC TROJANS” PE

Just this October, the Phoenix Suns’ standout guard hit the court with a fresh pair of kicks, i.e. the Nike Book 1 PE in a “USC Trojans” colorway.

He debuted his new find in a Phoenix Suns’ vs LA Clippers match, and the red and gold colors are a nod to the University of Southern California's history. The words "BOOK" and "Chapter One" in a varsity font are strewn across the tongue and heel tab as well.

3) BOOK 1 “MICHIGAN STATE” PE

Booker goes collegiate yet again with these “Michigan State” PE kicks, given that the forest green colorway is a nod to the school, while its Spartan mascot also makes an appearance on the heel.

Booker, who was once slated to enroll at the school, also brought in the same "Chapter One" heel tag and "BOOK" lettering across the tongue as its predecessor on this list.

4) Book 1 “Sunrise”

These kicks dropped on October 10, 2024, and stand as a testament to the beautiful skies that grace the “Valley of The Sun,” i.e. Booker’s hometown, Arizona. For $140, anyone can get their hands on these pastel pink kicks.

Apart from the entire canvas, including the laces, being in pink, these kicks feature orange hues on the heels-- a nod to the colors visible at the break of dawn.

5) Book 1 "Halloween"

These kicks are yet to come out, but have already generated anticipation surrounding its release. The canvas is black, coupled with a touch of orange accents, and what gives it its name is the Frankenstein-style stitch detailing bordering the black swoosh.

Plus, the leather of the body seems cracked and worn out to embody the ethos of Halloween and horror.

From the vibrant "Kobe 1 Protro" PE with Phoenix Suns-inspired purples and bright orange accents, to the newly debuted “USC Trojans” PE that pays homage to Southern California’s signature red and gold, each colorway is a story in itself.

The “Michigan State” green, “Sunrise” pastels, and the anticipated “Halloween” black with Frankenstein-like stitches add depth to the collection.
