Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Happy Meals are being sold to celebrate the release of the third installment of the animated movie.
Adult Happy Meal toys have been a hit amongst Uncle Mac’s customers, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Happy Meals have been a hit among franchise fans.
McDonald’s, on December 17, 2022, announced the launch of the Happy Meal on Instagram with the caption:
“Whose side r u on? @sonicmovie Happy Meal is out now.”
The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 Happy Meals feature eight roller toys and come with a classic Happy Meal with boxes branded with images of Sonic or his nemesis, Shadow.

2024 has certainly been a busy year for the popular fast food chain as they collaborated with video game franchises like Mario Kart, Genshin Impact, Pokemon, and Zenless Zone Zero.
These partnerships have created a meeting ground for fans of the games who are McDonald’s customers. McDonald’s previously collaborated with Sonic the Hedgehog in 2022 for the commemoration of their 2022 movie Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and fans have been hoping for another collaboration since.
McDonald’s first revealed the collaboration for its Colombian customers. Those in the region were treated to 12 exclusive Happy Meal toys based on characters from the animated movie.
Other regions were unsure of their fate but had cause for celebration when the fast food chain confirmed the availability of the toys in the North American locations.
The toys available in the US are the Sonic Blue Roller, Shadow Orange Roller, Sonic Yellow Roller, Tails Yellow Roller, Sonic Yellow Roller, Shadow Red Roller, Tails Blue Roller, and Knuckles White Roller.
The Happy Meals are packaged with graphics of Sonic and Shadow. Each Sonic Happy Meal features either a Hamburger or Chicken McNuggets, a side dish, a drink, and one of the toys offered in the collection.
