McDonald’s launches McExtreme pizza-like burger: Everything you need to know

If you are fond of pizza, this latest launch from McDonald’s Spain is worth giving a try.

McDonald's Spain has launched the McExtreme Tutti Pepperoni burger, which tastes like a pizza! It combines a mouthwatering fusion of classic flavors and Italian flair. The McExtreme lineup promises to transport you straight to Italy.

According to a report in Dexerto, the burger was released on January 21, 2025. The burger includes a combination of flavors inspired by Italy, consisting of beef, cheddar cheese, and onions, complemented by a tomato sauce with oregano and pepperoni bites.

The McExtreme Tutti Pepperoni burger will be available in over 625 McDonald’s restaurants, as said by McDonald’s Spain, per Merca 2.0. The latest “McPizza”- like burger is an addition to previously launched McExtreme burgers, including Pulled Pork or BBQ Bourbon.

However, the burger is exclusively available in Spain, and it is not clear if the burger will be paving its way in the U.S. market.

You can get the McExtreme Tutti Pepperoni burger from any of your nearest McDonald’s stores in Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, and Marbella or from food delivery apps like Uber Eats and Just Eat.

Which other McExtreme burgers were introduced by McDonald’s Spain?

Besides its latest introduction of the McExtreme Tutti Pepperoni burger, the company launched two bold flavors, which include McExtreme Bacon and McExtreme Pulled Pork. These burgers were reportedly released in 2023, and since then, they have become fan favorites.

The McExtreme Bacon burger features a beef patty, double-smoked gouda cheese, crispy bacon, and special bacon sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.

This burger is another popular item in the McExtreme lineup. It includes pulled pork topped with barbecue sauce and crispy onions, a delicious smoked cheese medallion, and smoked mayonnaise along with its beef.

These ingredients are combined with McDonald’s sesame bun to form a McDonald’s McExtreme burger. According to the company, for those looking for gluten-free options, McDonald’s provides Gluten-free bread, which contains eggs.

According to a report in Dexerto, McDonald’s Spain isn’t the only one that has launched a new product in its lineup, but McDonald’s US also plans to re-introduce its iconic snack wraps.

McDonald’s Senior Marketing Director Guillaume Huin said,
