More details on the Sneex heels and their design

Sara Blakely who designed the famous Spanx, hit the shoe market with an eccentric shoe silhouette in August 2024–the Sneex heels. The brand’s website introduces the shoes as combining:

“The elegance of high heels with the ease and comfort of sneakers. Designed for modern trendsetters, these shoes are perfect for both casual outings and formal occasions.”

They come in a variety of colors and designs—The Icon, The Tepper, and The Blake. All designs favor color-blocking style patterns.

The shoes, which blend the upper area of the classic sneaker silhouette with a heeled base, also feature a toe box. The footwear does away with the tongue design on the typical sneaker silhouette and embraces a wraparound unit instead.

They are handmade in Spain and incorporate a slip-on design to facilitate easy wear. The shoes come with a 78mm heel and are crafted from Italian mesh, leather, and suede.

Branding details are visible on the insoles. This pair of limited edition Teppers is available for sale on the brand’s website for $595.

Since the brand’s inception in August, the Sneex heels have gotten sold out on different occasions. They come in handy during the winter for fashionistas who don’t like to sacrifice style for practicality.

The Sneex heels made it to Oprah Winfrey’s 2024 list of Oprah’s Favorite Things. According to the media mogul:

“It took almost 10 years, and the innovation is how it redistributes the weight off the ball of your foot. The result is a shoe Gayle [King] wore for 12 hours straight!”
