Krispy Kreme is all set for the spooky season with an all-new range of Ghostbusters doughnuts. Created in partnership with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, the sweet treats celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1984 film Ghostbusters.
Starting at over $2.99, the Halloween-themed doughnuts can be found at participating stores across the United States and Canada starting Monday, October 7, 2024.

They come in four exclusive variants: Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme, Slimer, Ecto-Sprinkled, and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man doughnut. The limited-time collection can be enjoyed by fans at the nearest participating outlet or ordered online for a stress-free indulgence.
Krispy Kreme's Global Chief Brand Officer, Dave Skena, teased the Ghostbusters doughnuts through a press release on October 7 and said:
“Yes it’s true, these treats are no trick. When it comes to Halloween this year, you know who to call.”
Briefing fans about the collaboration and the new spooky treats, Skena continued:
“Kríspy Kreme is the gatekeeper to Halloween sweetness and Sony Pictures Consumer Products is the key master to bring spooky-sweet Ghostbusters doughnuts to our fans this year. You’re welcome, Gozer.”

The Krispy Kreme x Ghostbusters Collection delivers a reimagined take on the comedy classic and offers guests a taste of sweet nostalgia. Featuring vibrant frosting colors and sprinkles, the themed doughnuts are aimed at making the 2024 Halloween extra special for fans nationwide.
The Ghostbusters doughnuts are expected to be around until Halloween and can be available as individual offerings or in assorted collections. An 11-count box of themed doughnuts can be availed for over $28.99, while a three-count box may cost over $10.19.
People who do not have any Krispy Kreme stores in the locality can also find the limited-time doughnuts at select grocers and retailers. The chain delivers fresh doughnuts daily to major retailers, including - Albertson's, Wakefern, Bogopa, Food Lion, Kroger, Publix, and more.
The limited-time Ghostbusters collection available at stores beginning October 7 includes:
- Ghostbusters Cookies N’ Creme ($3.49) – It is built upon an Original Glazed, dipped in rich chocolate icing, and decorated with crushed OREO pieces, buttercream, and a No Ghost-themed candy piece.
- Slimer Doughnut ($3.49) – It features a purple-green icing-dipped unglazed doughnut, which comes topped with a Slimer-themed candy.
- Ecto-Sprinkled Doughnut ($2.99) – Everyone's favorite Original Glazed dipped in vibrant orange icing and decorated with neon sprinkles.
- Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Doughnut Pull-Apart ($3.79) – It offers a custom Original Glazed with a ghost-shaped topping of marshmallow-flavored buttercreme and a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man-themed candy.
- Frozen Slimer's Slime-Ade ($5.19) - A frozen lemonade-flavored beverage infused with real fruits and natural cane sugar. The celebratory beverage features the signature theme of Slimer's ectoplasm green.
Krispy Kreme is making things extra special for fans this Halloween and will offer a free Original Glazed doughnut to all guests visiting a participating store on October 31. While no purchase is necessary to avail of the freebie, guests must don a Halloween costume while visiting the stores.
