Krispy Kreme announces Valentine's Day 2025 doughnut collection: Items list, release date, and more explored

Love is in the air as Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. As couples and loved ones prepare to celebrate the most-awaited day of the year, restaurants and food chains across the U.S. are ready with their new treats.

Among the standout offerings is Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s doughnuts called the Hearts in Bloom Collection. This limited-edition lineup includes four doughnuts - You Make Me Daisy Doughnut, the Love You Bunches Doughnut, Blooming Heart Doughnut, and You Are My Sunshine Doughnut.

These heart-shaped doughnuts are topped with floral icing, making them more appealing to customers. Krispy Kreme is known for these special doughnuts, which are released every February to celebrate the occasion.

According to a report in All Recipes, the brand-new collection will be available online and offline in Krispy Kreme stores starting January 27, 2025. In case you don’t have a Krispy Kreme store nearby, you can catch the Valentine’s collection at Walmart, Target, Kroger, and 7-Eleven.

Here is what makes the Krispy Kreme’s Valentine’s Day collection distinct from other doughnuts. The restaurant chain has launched currently four flavors in its latest lineup. According to the company, each doughnut is unglazed and heart-shaped.

You Make Me Daisy Doughnut

This doughnut is filled with white Kreme. It is covered with strawberry icing and drizzled with yellow icing with a daisy candy piece at the top.

Love You Bunches Doughnut

It is filled with Chocolate Kreme and dipped in red icing. This sweet treat features tiny pink and red curls resembling the petals of a flower and green steam.

Blooming Heart Doughnut

This one is filled with cookies and crème filling. It is dipped in purple icing and covered with sprinkles and tiny flower-shaped candies.

You Are My Sunshine Doughnut

This doughnut is filled with caramel-flavored Kreme. It is dipped in chocolate icing and drizzled with a green stem. It is then topped with a sunflower candy piece.

These doughnuts come in a customized flower bouquet box and in the original packing. They can be brought individually or by a dozen per the company. The Krispy Kreme Hearts in Bloom Collection can be brought separately for $2.49 or in the 12-piece box for $12.99.

Krispy Kreme launches two more limited-edition doughnuts. These are called Strawberry Iced With Valentine’s Sprinkles and Chocolate Iced With Valentine’s Sprinkles.

In 2024, Krispy Kreme launched its “Dough-note” collection on Valentine’s Day. It featured a personalized space to write a note for your loved one at the top of the doughnut box.

In 2023, the famous doughnut chain collaborated with Hershey’s Chocolate to launch its Valentine’s Day collection called “Choc-Full-of-Love.”
