Up until 2006, Kettle Foods was the biggest brand of natural potato chips in the United States. They were founded nearly 47 years ago and now sell a variety of flavors in the US, UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Kettle Brand has launched limited-edition potato chips inspired by Mexican cuisine flavors. The Chamoy-flavored chips are priced at $5.29 and are packed with sweet and spicy flavors. The chips are reminiscent of Chamoy, a sweet and spicy savory sauce that is made with pickled fruits, chili pepper, and other spices.

The chips can be bought at major grocery retailers and online through Instacart, Carrs, and others. From air-fried to limited-edition Gochujang chips, Kettle's range of chips has expanded in recent times. Per All Recipes, the flavor will be available in the lineup for one year.

Kettle took to its Instagram to share the news with its customers. The brand noted that the sweet and spicy chips have been inspired by "traditional Mexican cuisine." They stated,
"The NEW Chamoy flavored potato chips will send your taste buds on a sweet, tangy, and spicy vacation."
The website describes the chips as "gluten-free" and made with visible seasonings. The chips are packed with flavors of chili, mango, and lime. A spokesperson from Kettle Brand expressed their excitement for the new flavor and noted,
“Kettle Brand is dedicated to crafting a multi-sensory snacking experience with bold flavors and an epic crunch. Our new Chamoy flavor is no different."
They added,
"We’re proud to offer our take on this popular condiment—a perfectly cooked kettle chip with vibrant, mouthwatering flavor that only Kettle Brand can bring to life."
The brand also announced the release of a new lineup of flavored chips made with avocado oil on February 8. As described by the brand, the new "bold flavors" are Special Sauce, Sea Salt with Pink Peppercorn, and Apple Cider Vinegar. The chips feature a wide taste profile, from tangy to sweet and salty.
Kettle has expanded its flavor range with the all-new Chamoy flavor. While the brand has released Spicy Queso, which is Tex-Mex flavored chips, before, this will be one of their first flavors inspired by a Mexican food item.
Following the release of Chamoy chips, Kettle Brand also released avocado-flavored chips in three unique flavors. The chips will be rolled out in major grocery retailers and will be available for purchase online.
