From Monday, December 16, to Tuesday, December 24, 2024, during the seasonal campaign, termed Holiday Burger Blitz, you can enjoy a free Shake Shack burger when you make a minimum purchase of $10 and use code BURGERBLITZ at any of its 350 store locations or on the app.

Shake Shack made the mouthwatering announcement through a press release on December 9, 2024, stating:
"This holiday season, we’re bringing the cheer with our Holiday Burger Blitz! Burgers on us, every single day, leading up to the holidays. From Monday, 12/16 through Tuesday, 12/24,"
They promptly followed with a schedule of the dates and the free burgers offered. Below is a quick summary of the burgers offered.
The Holiday Burger Blitz begins on December 16 with ShackBurger. The ShackBurger is a classic for a reason. It is made with juicy beef, melty cheese, and tangy Shack Sauce. It is priced at $8.79 on their website.
The second day, December 17, offers a free Smokeshack burger, a cheeseburger with applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and ShackSauce served on a lightly toasted bun which sells for $10.19.
On the third day, December 18, you can get a free Avocado Bacon burger—an Angus beef cheeseburger topped with freshly sliced avocado, applewood-smoked bacon, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. It is sold for $11.29.
A free Cheeseburger is available on the fourth day, December 19. The cheeseburger is essentially an Angus burger topped with Gruyère cheese and black truffle sauce made with real black truffle oil and crispy sweet onions on a toasted potato bun. It is sold for $8.19.
You can score a free Black Truffle burger on the fifth day, December 20. The Black Truffle Burger from the restaurant chain features a juicy Angus beef patty, melted Gruyère cheese, and a rich black truffle sauce crafted with real black truffle oil. It's finished with crispy sweet onions and served on Shake Shack's signature potato bun. It is sold for $10.49.
On the sixth day, December 21, you get the Bacon Cheeseburger for free. The Bacon Cheeseburger has 12 slices of sharp cheddar cheese, 15 slices of bacon, and a 2-pound patty made from ground chuck. It is seasoned with diced sweet onion, Worcestershire sauce, Kosher salt, and freshly cracked pepper. It is priced at $9.89.
On the seventh day, December 22, the Avocado Bacon Burger is back on the free menu. The eighth day, December 23, also sees the Shake Shack offering their SmokeShack once again.
On the last day, December 24, the ShackBurger makes a return to the free menu too.
