The Gallery Dept. x Asics collaboration is once again back in the market after making waves with three collab pairs in 2023. For the second time teaming up with Asics, Gallery Dept has created an entirely new silhouette with personal touches. The new model ASICS GEL-K1011 is making its debut in three colorways with this collaboration.
Three upcoming colorways of Gallery Dept. x Asics Gel-K1011 will be launched on December 7, 2024, at the official store of Gallery Dept. via an EQL raffle. The retail price for the White/Pure Silver and Khaki Clay/Canyon colorways is $295, while the Black/Black colorway comes with a price tag of $325.

For the second consecutive year, Gallery Dept. has partnered with Asics, and this time, the pair is introducing a brand-new silhouette. The Gallery Dept. x Asics GEL-K1011, coming in three different options, has taken some cues from the Gel-Kayano 5, 6, and 10.
The Gallery Dept. x Asics White/Pure Silver and the Khaki Clay/Canyon exhibit a color-blocking pattern crafted on a standard Asics silhouette. These two sneakers share a mesh upper along with conventional waving leather overlays.
The logo markings, featuring emblems from Gallery Dept. on the toe and heel, highlight the partnership. The tiger stripe on the midfoot, the "A" sign on the heel tab, the Asics graphic on the tongue tag, and the lateral heel all display the Asics branding details. A collaborative marking is also visible on the insoles of these sneakers.
The Gallery Dept. x Asics Black/Black colorway, however, comes covered in all-over white paint applied by in-house artisans. This variant is done up entirely in white paint complemented by dark linings and outsoles. The construction of this shoe is like the other two colorways, i.e., a mix of mesh and leather.
The sneakers exhibit a bled vibe with visible brush strokes on the outsole. Because in-house artisans hand-do each pair, you can expect each pair to feature a unique paint print.
